FS1 & B-Licence

I achieved my FS1 on the 10th of August and my B-Licence on the 26th of September 2026.

A B-Licence is the next step after the A-Licence, and expands the amount of responsibilities I can take on, and allows me to enter new diciplines such as tracking and more advanced canopy work. Obtaining a B-Licence involves completing 50 jumps and obtaining JM1 and CT1 stickers.

FS1 - Formation Skydiving 1, is a sticker that allows someone to jump with other skydivers. Skills taught in FS1 include vertical, horizontal, and sideways movement relative to other people, grip taking, and refining existing skills such as the exit, breakoff, and tracking.

JM1 - Jump Master 1, is a sticker that allows someone to act as a jumpmaster on a skydive, which involves organising the exit order, performing flight line checks, checking the spot, and aircraft emergency procedures amongst other things.

CT1 - Canopy Training 1, is a sticker that expands on previous canopy training, and involves practicing a variety of manouvres and pre-declared landings, as well as a written test.
